General, open cell acoustical absorption - For applications where a high percentage of open cells are desired, particularly those that encourage air penetration, hence high frequency sound absorption, we recommend beginning with 46F foam, then working through higher density foams such as 4E and 6E until the performance characteristic is achieved. |

Recycled Foams - Fiberthane is our recycled material. It has applications as an acoustic absorber, anti-rattle padding, gap fillers and numerous other uses where its lower cost affords economic benefit. It differs from many other recycled foams in that it also meets flammability and fogging requirements inside the vehicle. |

High Density Foams (3, 4 & 6 lb densities) - Higher density foams can have acoustical advantages, but they also can afford more firmness/resistance, darker color for visual effect, higher resilience and added life expectancy. The Super Seal material also affords significant resistance to water and air flow. |
